About

Hi, my name is Richard Burgess. I have served for many years as a pastor in denominational and new church settings. I have a passion for God and his Word and its application to life today.

By God’s grace, I became a Christian in my teens and soon felt the call of God into the ministry. This led to involvement in children’s and youth work, evangelism and preaching, leading worship, pastoral work, and church planting.

I hold a postgraduate diploma in Theology in Scriptural Context from Wales Evangelical School of Theology (now Union)/University of Chester and a master’s degree in Kingdom Theology from Westminster Theological Centre/University of Chester.

I’m committed to the church, the body of Christ, and seeing the good news of Jesus Christ proclaimed in all its saving fullness in today’s world.

I’m the author of Exploring the Role of Women in the Church, Headship: A False Doctrine or for Real? Practical Discipleship and Exploring the Trinity (Without Getting Lost) – all available across Amazon.
